Mentoring youth to build skills of the future
We created a 4-week program for teaching entrepreneurial skills to middle school students in a super fun way through a ‘Sticker Startup’ Game.
Through experiential learning, students applied essential entrepreneurial skills such as Ideation, Prototyping, Finance essentials, Go-to market strategy and pitched their startups to peers and teachers.

Izzy Romero, a highschool senior attending a rural school in Conroe was interested to pursue a career in Coding. Being the first member from his family to finish highschool, he needed guidance to plan his education career after graduation.

Henry’s Barber Shop
Bridging digital divide in rural businesses through inclusive digital literacy and solutions
Mr. Henry, who has been running his barber shop for over 40 years was in need of help in bringing efficiency to the daily operations of his business.
He wanted help in scheduling and organizing his appointments. Manual systems were preventing his business from serving the younger demographic who he wanted to bring in as new customers.
Like many rural small business owners, Mr. Henry was not a computer literate and found technology overwhelming. We had to create the easiest technology solutions that would help solve these business challenges.
- Designed an easy to use, customized Scheduling Tool. Provided user training and tracked successful implementation over a 3-month period.
- Built a Customer Database for data analytics, providing insights to customer needs.
- Educated on digital payment options.
Maintained on-time appointments due to Service-type based scheduling.
Removed waste from day-to-day operations, helping improve efficiency by over 30%. This helped the owner close his shop on schedule every day.
